iPhone App - CameraKit

I'm really enjoying the iPhone App "Camera Kit". You really have quite a combination of controls at your finger tips:

Take a look at the hiking/trees photo. There is an original photo and seven configured photos, each with it's own filter and color cross processing. I think my favorite is the soft focus Sepia version. That version looks really old-timey.

I also like the Bay Bridge "Classic + Green + Vignetting" photo. Someone commented that it "looked like a 70's cop show photo (sans the SUV's)", which was exactly what I was going for - ha!

I think it was definitely worth the $1.99 I paid.

Okay hello, first of all, The Jangs with that collar?! Funniest things I have seen in a while.

Second, this is the precise kind of thing that makes me jealous that I do not have an iPhone. I will get there someday, probably in a year or so, but thanks for sharing in the meanwhile so that I can see what I am missing :)

It looks interesting (especially picture #15). But is it better than CameraBag?

Martin - I responded to you on Twitter too. I think that this application gives you more control.

I do like the polaroid function on CameraBag, but I also like using the polaroid desktop app.

Hi Eileen. What is the Polaroid Desktop app? An iPhone app?

Martin - The desktop app is called "Poladroid" http://www.poladroid.net/

But I see on iTunes that there are a couple of iPhone apps that supposedly transform your pics to polaroids. However, both are getting low ratings. I downloaded one of the two ("Polarize") and will let you know what I think.

About

I'm based in the Bay Area and I make videos that either go on TV or the web. Currently, I work at Revision3.

I believe I am addicted to the internet.

I like dark chocolate, red wine, pop music, good food, my dog Jango and *shocking* some reality TV shows.

I will never apologize for these interests, or force you to like them too.

Hello world!
